 Dear Parents,

The Board of Education of Manville Borough is again making available student Accident Insurance for all its students.  In addition, the Board also provides a special comprehensive accident policy for all its interscholastic athletic activities, including band, which is paid for by the Board of Education.

The limits of the coverage, benefits, and claim provisions of the athletic policy are defined in the certificate of insurance issued to the Board of Education.

The Excess Payment Clause, authorized by the New Jersey Insurance Commissioner, will only be utilized in the athletic accident policy limits in excess of what your health insurance would pay.  In other words, all medical bills must be submitted to your health insurance carrier first.  Any bills that aren’t paid by your health insurance carrier may be submitted to the school policy for possible payment.  Any remaining balances after payment by the athlete’s family medical insurance and the Board of Education Athletic Accident Policy become the responsibility of the athlete’s family.

All injuries must be immediately reported to your child’s coach or faculty advisor.

It is necessary and compulsory for the parents to sign the permission slips and turn it into the Main Office.
