My Teaching Background

This is my sixteenth year as an educator.  I began my teaching career in Green Brook, NJ where I taught kindergarten for 4 years.  In 2010, I moved to Hawaii where I taught grades K, 2, and 3.  Back in Manville, I have worked as a 2nd grade teacher and a literacy intervention teacher in grades 1 and 3.  I am very excited to be working as the first grade literacy specialist this year.

 A Little Bit About Me

When I'm not at school, you can usually find me reading a book.  I have always loved to read.  When I was a little girl, one of my favorite series of books was the Nancy Drew series.  I was convinced that I would grow up to be a detective.  I also enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 year old daughter, Ada.
