    Course Description: This course is designed to help students improve their problem-solving skills through exposure to qualitative and quantitative reasoning. Topics will be taken from arithmetic, algebra, and geometry, in an effort the strengthen the basic repertoire of skills and processes, which should be a part of student's background before entering college or the work force. Areas of study will include business applications; atheltic competitions; projectile motion; permutations and combinations; geometric transformations; Snell's law; and modulo arithmetic. Available as concurrent enrollment for college credit with Raritan Valley Community College if placement requirements are met.
