I have worked in the Manville School District for 15+ years. I love working with children in any subject area and of all abilities and backgrounds. The focus in our classroom is primarily on new skills in all academic areas; communication, socialization, behavior, and self-help skills. We help students to acquire and retain knowledge while fostering independence by providing a safe space to build confidence. I believe every student can learn successfully and that, as educators, it is important to discover and deliver effective instruction equitably to all students. It is my duty to determine each student's style of learning and design instruction that addresses each student's individual needs. By building on each student's strength and addressing their areas of weakness, I can facilitate student success while fostering a high level of self-esteem through achievement.
