The purpose for Manville High School's Environmental Club is to promote awareness of the current state of our environment and to educate our community on how to go "greener". This club is open to all students who have an interest in making our community a healthier place. Environmental Conservation Club meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of every month in Room 25.
Our Goals
Help in the design the greenhouse, revamp the paper and plastic recycling programs at the school, participate in Community Day clean-ups, attend the Envriothon, grow ornamental and consumable plants, promote and sell sustainable products, visit the Sea Grant Consortium at Sandy Hook and participate in seining and educational research, and continue to educate our school community about conservation and healthy living.
