Hello.  My name is Dawn Melise.  I teach 7th Grade Inclusion for ELA and History.  This is my third year teaching in Special Education, and my first year with Manville.  Prior to coming to Manville, I taught Middle School Special Education at Alpha Public School in Alpha, NJ for three school years.  Prior to Alpha, I was a Teacher Assistant in Emotional Support in Pennsylvania.  I also have experience in Autistic Support classrooms.

I have two children: My son, Robert, is 24 and my daughter, Monique, is 21.  Both were very involved in sports.  I am from Phillipsburg, NJ, where I coach cheerleading for a local recreation team. Please bring me your activity schedules (sports, dance, derby races, etc).  I love going to support my students in their after-school activities.

I have an open-door policy for my students, whether that is before, during, or after school.  If they ever need to talk, I am always available to help in any way I can.  If there are any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
