The Manville School District Technology Department’s mission is to plan, develop, support and maintain a stable and progressive computer network for the student and staff.
Each student and staff member is provided with space on a network storage server for their files. Both staff and student are given an internet email account which they can access from anywhere in the world. Students are provided with a school GMAIL account to help facilitate collaboration with their peers as well as their teachers.
The Technology Department is responsible for the installation, maintenance, setup and support of over 900 workstations throughout the district in addition to printers, interactive whiteboards, chromebooks, servers and infrastructure as well as the district Website.
This network is further strengthened by an assortment of modern high end servers which provide file storage and sharing, internet connectivity complete with content filtering, centralized printing, a student information and grading system, a library system and an email system which is available to our staff 24/7 all year long.
The Technology Department works hand in hand with the leadership and faculty of the Manville School District in the continual quest for excellence in education.
