Dear Parents & Students,
Many of our faculty have been successfully using Remind to improve communication for school functions, especially for clubs and activities. This is an excellent messaging service intended for mobile devices by using informal messaging for timely reminders and helpful, non-urgent updates. The administration of Roosevelt School is beginning to utilize this tool as a part of the school day.
Please note that Remind will not replace our existing communication programs, but complement what we presently use.
We are currently configuring the program and updating our participant lists. Though not required, teachers may create a “class” for their students and coaches/advisors may do so for their teams and clubs. Once registered with Roosevelt, students can join any “class” for updates. This is open to parents as well.
Please take a few moments to get connected to Roosevelt on REMIND via a mobile phone by texting “@resmsd" to the number “81010." Be sure to specify your role as “Parent” or “Student.” You can also download the app or login on a computer: https://www.remind.com/join/resmsd.
